Kampfsportverein RoCo
The “Kampfsportverein RoCo” club has two pillars – children and youth training and the competition team
The aim of the children’s and youth training is to optimally support the motor development of adolescents.
Our children’s training is not designed for competition; the focus is on the participants discovering the fun of movement. As many movement patterns as possible should be discovered and learned through the diverse program. In our opinion, martial arts is ideal for this. It also teaches children how to defend themselves and keep a cool head in tricky situations. In addition to promoting physical aspects, our training also teaches empathy, discipline and perseverance.
The older the athletes get, the more specific the training becomes. The young people not only gain excellent physical fitness through martial arts, but are also mentally prepared for everyday challenges.
The other major pillar of the club is the support of competitive athletes. In the amateur sector of martial arts, it is hardly possible to earn money in Austria, and traveling to tournaments is usually associated with costs (entry fee, accommodation, etc.). We have set ourselves the goal of supporting our athletes here. The club also offers the opportunity to support the athletes in a possible professional career as a trainer.
